IFTA
Model Agreements

The MILA has long set the standard for licensing international rights in motion pictures and television programming.

The IFTA® MILA is the established and widely adopted set of industry standard contractual forms that have assisted in documenting international distribution deals since the 1980s.

Over the last year, IFTA reviewed and revised the entire MILA to keep pace with the evolving worldwide film and television industry. The changes made to the MILA 7th Edition reflect current legal and industry licensing practices and standards.

Use of IFTA model agreements is voluntary and must not be the basis of collective agreement among competitors.
